So why do I hate Microsoft?

Short answer to a long explanation ….. ‘cos Microsoft Education Ireland shafted me, my pupils and my school!
I genuinely want to advance I.T. in my school. I don’t want to do the usual stuff with the pupils.
Am I a monkey or what?

I hate people who don’t approve my comment when I’ve taken the time to comment on their blog!
I wouldn’t mind if I had blasted them out of it but I hadn’t!
Responsible reporting?

I was listening to ‘Morning Ireland’ on Radio One on my way to work this morning.
I heard Pascal Sheehy, R.T.E.’s Southern Reporter, talking about the terrible burning of a 13 year old boy in Cork.
The boy and his friends had been inhaling petrol vapours from plastic bottles.
Educational apartheid in Irish schools – I don’t blame them one little bit!

An audit by the teachers’ friend, Mary Hanafin, has found that a lot of secondary schools are using selective/restrictive policies to exclude special needs, immigrant children and Traveller children.
Provision for special needs pupils, immigrant children and Traveller children is largely left to vocational and community schools.
Other schools are opting out.
