It’s 11.30 p.m here and it’s been a marathon day/evening/night at school.

Today was my deadline for getting all 12 policies completed for presentation at the Board of Management meeting.

The day was spent teaching, the evening spent at printing and the night spent at explaining.

It’s a job well done but I’ve never been so mentally drained in my life.

The pressure over the last few months just to get a folder of paperwork together was something that I’d not like my head and eyes to go through again.

Commenting …. posting … messing about on my blog brought me pleasant distraction from the endless late nights of paperwork.

Grannymar tells me to relax …. unfortunately I can’t …. still lots of the list to be done between now and the summer.

Tomorrow, though, will be a day of reflection and a day of sorting the list to be done.

I’m taking a course day on Friday (a day off - I was entitled to 3 days off for attending a course during the summer of 2007 …. had one day left coming to me).

I’m going hill walking ……………… yipee!
