Rock singer/musician Kurt Cobain of Nirvana was found dead in Seattle of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on the 8th of April 1994. He was 27 years old.
His suicide note was said to have contained a quote from Neil Young’s song “My My, Hey Hey (Out of the Blue)”:
“It’s better to burn out than to fade away.”

Today is the 10th anniversary of the death of Tammy Wynette. Tammy died on April the 6th 1998 at the age of 55. Tammy performs some of her most popular songs on the video.
The person who introduces Tammy on the video is none other than the actor Robert Urich. Urich died in 2002 as result of a rare form of cancer. He was 56 when he died.
