A young swan was horrifically injured last Monday night at the Stardust Memorial Park in Coolock, Dublin when it ate a piece of bread with fireworks hidden inside it.
The fireworks blew off the swan’s beak and its tongue was shredded.
A vet had to humanely put the swan down.
Bloody animals the people who did this.
I am shocked, disgusted and ashamed that such an act of cruelty could be perpetrated here in Ireland.
This is one of the times that I’m ashamed to call myself Irish.
May the people who did this feel the effects of the wheel coming full circle! Fuckers!
Sadly Paddy this transcends borders. There’s always some thug ready to moot cruel and unusual punishment on some innocent being. We banned fireworks here a long time ago, largely due to indjuries to children and animals through stupidity and cruelty. It hasn’t stopped some from behaving cruelly. Some moron here was arrested recently for ‘boxing’ a kangaroo to near death while his perverted mate filmed him on his mobile phone!
Yeah, the sort of scum that do that graduate to worse. Fuck liberalism, put them in a deep dark pit and never let the fuckers out. Note I didn’t suggest they be fed.
