How long could I survive? - not long Grannymar!

How Long Could You Survive Trapped In Your Own Home?

I took the test Grannymar.

Not having any non-perishable goods in my house was my down fall!

I reckon they allowed me 30 days of life for natural wastage!

Paddy - you might last longer than you think - as long as you have a water supply.

I heard a sad story today at the nursing home. A resident in her mid-90’s decided about four weeks ago that she’d had enough of life. Her room mate of many years had died a few weeks earlier and Alice (name changed) now wants ‘out’ too so she gave up eating entirely. She is still very much alive today, existing on nothing but water. Alice doesn’t even look unwell either. Makes you wonder doesn’t it? They were obviously made of strong stuff in her day!

It is sad when a person at the latter stages of their life decides to just give up.

Doctors predicted that my mother would die within a month/two months …. she survived about 5 months.

    Life is hard to understand.

Not long at the moment. Man-flu has struck. Bed with plenty of fluids (beside the bed, not in it) is called for. Later principal dude.

Aww I’d outlive you by 25 days thanks to a 25 kilo bag of dog food! Like you Paddy, little other than perishables in my fridge!

I never factored in dog food …. I’m saved … with dog sausages, treats, mixers and complete!
