How many faces can you see?
Up to my ears here with school work …. of my own making …. trying to see if I can get WordPress to work as a ‘plain’ looking site so I can get the pupils as masters of their own work and get them to post to the net.
Any ideas? All suggestions welcome …. I’m trying to push the boat out …. not sink it! 
Been a long night …. a long tiring day ….. a burst appendix (not mine) meant I had to be elsewhere on supervision duty! 
All ok now (hopefully) ….. if we could get rid of the HSE and start afresh with the ‘good’ people we’d have a great Health Service.
The people on the ground are the ones that are trying to keep the seams from falling apart.

11. Piece of piss. Are you confined to wordpress? The all white blogger one is pretty blank? I’m not sure you specified your problem clearly enough (sorry)?
What’s the all white blogger one?
I want a relatively simple CMS to use but also easily customised re. background colours, layout etc.
I looked at CMS made simple and website baker but time to mess around with them is limited.
I want the pupils to be able to add their own content …. seeing as they do the work anyway!
Blogspot. I know lots of people hate it but for basic stuff you can do just what you say you are looking for.
Paddy, just thinking of the HSE makes me despair.
Talk last week of early redundancies for 1,000 excess staff positions (800 administrative and 200 managerial) brought the unions out kicking and screaming even though they’ve known since the formation of the HSE four years ago, that this had to happen. That’s 1,000 salaries x 4 years (plus cost of redundancy) that could have been put to better use within the health service.
btw I may not be much use at giving technical advice but I’m bloody good when it comes to observation skills. I found 11 faces, no bother!

TC ~ Blogspot no good to me. I need something that we can install on our own web space ….. we’ll have full control. School Broadband doesn’t allow access to blogspot.
