Don’t think I agree with Michael Jackson’s daughter having to speak at his memorial service.

The media are describing it as her 26-word speech (even though I counted 27 words?).
It went thus:

“Ever since I was born my daddy has been the best father you can ever imagine and I just want to say I love him so much.”

Thrusting a 12 year old into the spot light in her time of grief wasn’t the most sensible of actions.

I hope life works out for them.

    Actually you’re the second blog this evening that’s expressed the same opinion and I agree. I didn’t watch it but the other blogger had a you tube clip and really, the minders around the poor little mite. She’s part of the publicity machine now which is really sad. He tried so hard to shelter them and whatever you think of the man, that was a good thing. Cheers Paddy, nice to see you back! Hugs from Aus.
