Just to clarify the purpose of my blog – this is the place where I (Paddy) write about the things that affect me in my life – be they personal or professional (i.e. related to my job).
They are my own views and my own thoughts. They do not reflect any third party view …. they are 100% my own and they are written (in my own personal style) with that in mind.
As the owner, landlord and only tenant in Paddy’s Place (PaddyBloggit.com) I do it my way and it’s either my way or no way here.
Comments are welcome. Debate is always encouraged. Downright criticism isn’t and it will be consigned to the bin without a second thought.
Any comment questioning my professionalism as a teacher or as a principal will be deleted automatically.
In reading and commenting here you accept that I am writing as an individual. You also accept that I do not represent any particular educational institution/school/policy on my blog.
I reserve the right to edit, modify, or delete as I see fit here.

Good grief! Has someone been giving you a hard time? How can anyone question your professionalism unless they work with you or know you personally? I agree, on the blog, you’re king of all you survey . . . and I but a loyal subject . .Who’s been criticising you then? C’mon, fess up and I’ll send someone round to show ‘em where to stick their didgeridoo!

I’m sure you can’t always say what you want/think in school but you are outside school here and your blog is personal. Keep it that way. Just a pity school websites can’t post a ‘Fuck You Cowen’ type post followed by a massive walk out…
