On this day – 2nd of April 2005, Pope John Paul II died after a long illness.
“Freedom consists not in doing what we like, but in having the right to do what we ought.”
I liked the man. He gave humanity that ‘good feeling’ inside.
His personality and his presence is something that I still remember fondly.
I have no such opinion of Joseph Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI).
