Twitter ~ a case against!

I just find Twitter a total waste of time. I’d probably use it if I had an iPhone because news travels fast on Twitter but . . .then it doesn’t matter what electronic media you use. Keeping private information private has always been essential. Didn’t your mother always tell you not to say that you were home alone or to tell anyone your address or to talk to strangers? some people are just plain stupid.
I registered for Twitter but never used it.

I use Twitter to suit me, mainly through DMs- not Doc Martins, but Direct messages!
I was dreagged screaming and shouting into FB and twitter but do not use either except when I get an alert on mail. I respond to the alert and tell anyone who will listen that I do not visit or use either.
Oh, good!
You mean I’m not the only one who refuses to use Twitter or Facebook?
I’m not sure what it is that puts me off… maybe too-much-information/in yer face?
I think it is about how the tool is used. I am very surprised to see people posting their locations so easily. These new geolocator apps scare me because with just a touch of a button they will post everywhere you go to the sites you visit. I make sure to not do this. It feels like a stalker
